A classic and timeless work of art by Annie Lee depicting an old fashioned tent revival also known as a healing crusade or church rally. The preacher is passionately spreading the gospel and the congregation and choir feels the spirit.
The Alabama born and Chicago raised artist was known for featureless faces and the emotion and expression that radiated from the everyday people depicted in her work.
